Michelle Newby and her daughters, Danielle (5), and Nicole (3) are doing their part to help clean up the desert. A few weeks ago we came across these "cruising kids" near Competition Hill at Buttercup. They'd drive a few feet, stop, get out, pick some things up, then get back in and complete the whole process again.

After watching these curious actions for a while, we investigated further and discovered that they were picking up aluminum cans and putting them in a large trash bag they carried with them.

Soon, 5 year old Danielle will be riding her own three-wheeler. It will be purchased with the money they've collected from aluminum cans found while camping in the desert.

Congratulations and thanks to these three, Michelle, Danielle, and Nicole, for helping themselves and others by picking up trash in the desert.

Now, how about the rest of us?

It's not too late to get a chance at a free motorcycle or three-wheeler and help out the Williams family at the same time. Raffle tickets are still being sold at Holiday Honda. The Ace Williams drawing has been postponed until November 20. Hurry down there and get your ticket, then be there for the drawing at their Grand Opening on November 20.
