NOT JUST GUYS OUT THERE
Dear Sherri:
I really enjoy your magazine, your section on "the guy in
the garage" is always entertaining - August's article seemed
to indicate that it's only single guys that enjoy off roading
on their own. My daughters and I go (mostly to Glamis) about once
a month from September til May.
Would like to see more articles on Glamis and other dune areas!
Keep up the good work!

HE'S HOOKED ON DIRT BIKES
& SDOR
Dear SDOR:
I would like to tell you how much I enjoy your publication. I
am very new to the sport of off roading. I bought a dirt bike
in January 2000, now I am hooked. I have had many fun weekends
riding in the hills of Jamul. I cannot wait for desert season.
I most recently bought a YZ250. I am enjoying the local tracks,
the likes of which I would not know about, if it was not for your
great magazine. SDOR has promoted my interest in the sport with
the articles I have read. Now I am a fan of off roading and a
fan of SDOR.
Thank you,

A VOICE FROM THE PAST
Dear Sherri and Steve:
Thank you for the letter and copy of SDOR! The tribute to Jim
Petersen was excellent.
I was very impressed with the SDOR you sent. It's come such a
long way since those first issues! I was also happy to see the
San Diego Off Road Coalition still going. It owes a lot of it's
success to you and the SDOR. Even though it was a lot of hard
work, I miss not being involved anymore.
I'd love to receive SDOR. It was fun seeing all the ads for businesses
that are still there from the beginning. I also enjoyed Roy Denner's
article a lot.
Be sure to say hello to Fud and all those who remember me. I'm
glad they're all hanging in there!
