the Off
Road Connection
Are you looking for someone? Maybe someone to go off roading with? Or maybe you're looking for a certain someone to not only go off roading with, but also to have a special relationship? Or perhaps you're looking for someone to race with? Maybe looking for someone to come along and help pit for you?
If the people you usually ride with or
take off road adventures with just aren't available any longer,
or you're new to the sport and haven't met anyone to hang out
with yet, or if you're just the real friendly type who never has
enough friends, then Off Road Connection is for you.
How does it work? Does it cost money? Am I obligated to go riding
with someone you match me up with?
Hey, if you've got questions, we've got answers.
Off Road Connection is a free service of San Diego Off Road Magazine.
The way you get started is to fill out the application below (by
the way, it appears in every issue of SDOR-in case you're not
quite ready to take the plunge!). You'll notice on the application
a place for your address. Keep in mind this is for our records
and our communication purposes only. We do not give out addresses
to other applicants.
Once we receive your application, we'll look over your preferences
and then match you up with other members of similar interests.
You'll receive a list that will include the following information
about each person who matches your interests: Their name, phone
number, email address (if any), age, city they live in, type of
off road vehicle they use and their off roading preferences. The
people who match your interests will also receive a list that
has your name and information on it.
The rest is up to you. Contact one or all of the people on your
list as often or as little as you like.
Along with the list of names, we also include a list of suggestions
for making your Off Road Connections as successful as possible.
And we are always open to suggestions or comments from people
participating in this service.
If you're thinking about signing up for the service but have questions
feel free to give us a call. (619) 595-3886 is a 24-hour voice
mail, leave a phone number and convenient time for us to return
your call.
Otherwise, grab your pen and get ready to make some new friends!
